BAY STREET HAND ENGRAVED BUCKLE

South of the Combahee River in South Carolina's Low Country lies a succession of more than 100 islands. They are separated by rivers, estuaries , hammocks ,creeks, and salt marshes  These islands form part of the Sea Islands that extend from the Santee Delta over 100 miles to the Savannah River.  The largest of these islands Port Royal Island supports the Town of Beaufort on its easternmost tip  Beaufort's " High Street" fronts the Beaufort River and Intracoastal Waterway.  Bay Street provides the "back drop" for the Sea Islands finest shopping , dinning , events,  and is in the center of The Historic District.
